This image is of a beautiful futuristic city that shows the relationship of man and nature. I was trying to capture a real sense of scale and work on taking my painting skills to a new level. I tend to do very conceptual artwork that is loose and always under tight time constraints. We this piece of artwork I wanted to take my time and paint in all the details. As for reference I look through books and concept artwork but then try to paint everything from whatever my imagination puts together. I painted this using both cs3 and art rage on my wacom cintiq. I would love to hear comments and feedback.
